Troubleshooting: If there is no light output or light is dim, recharge the rechargeable batteries, or replace with a new set of alkaline or lithium batteries. If the rechargeable batteries are not charging, check cord connections on both ends and confirm outlet has power, or replace with new rechargeable batteries.
Recharging:
Recharge when light goes dim or does not light
• Open end cap cover (Fig. 1)
• Connect AC adaptor (Fig. 2)
• Plug AC adaptor into an wall-mounted AC power outlet; or car plug adaptor into 12V DC socket. Red LED turns ON immediately and continues while charging.
• Green LED turns ON when spotlight is charged.
• Initial charge time is 15 hours
• Subsequent charge time for fully discharged battery is 8-9 hrs at room temperature.
( 25°C / 77°F ). Charge time may be longer under other conditions.
• The spotlight can operate directly in ON mode when connected with 12V DC Car Adaptor.
• The spotlight can only be used in “LOW “ mode (not High) while connected to AC/DC power outlet. The light will flash when attempting to use on High mode; please turn it Off or change to Low mode.
• Please note that the battery compartment and the adaptor may be slightly warmer
during the charging process
Battery Replacement Instructions
1. Remove the end cap (Fig. 3)
2. Remove the battery cover (Fig. 4)
3. Install the batteries according to polarity markings (+ and -) (Fig. 5)
4. Close the cover and replace end cap (Fig. 6 & 7)
ONLY NiMH rechargeable batteries (as provided) are capable of being charged within the spotlight.
Alkaline or Lithium batteries may also be used within the light but the circuitry within the spotlight will prevent the batteries from charging.
Disposal: Dispose of light and battery in accordance with local regulations.
